I've reorganized my route such that that is the only pinch point I generally have with buses (well, and 77 Mass Ave) so I really can't complain too much.
Still, it's nice to know where I should, when I need to. Thanks!Charlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08036691849337099909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356723782465446786.post-32027046473425297122010-10-07T14:27:43.216-04:002010-10-07T14:27:43.216-04:00Wow, that's amazing. I love that some cities are starting to take bicyclists and cyclist safety seriously...it is a shame that it generally takes a tragedy to make it happen, but at least we're making headway.

I'm quite jealous of how conscious your area is beoming!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01094774697413709208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356723782465446786.post-75255637473100163512010-10-07T09:10:04.945-04:002010-10-07T09:10:04.945-04:00This is a great write up - thankyou! With the introduction of new separated 2way bike lanes here in Vancouver, there is a lot of heated arguements concerning safety, bike laws, education etc. It is nice to read that all groups are coming together and having constructive meetings. I hope it happens here where I live!!PaddyAnnehttp://pedaltalk.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356723782465446786.post-83546979000435698052010-10-07T06:28:01.077-04:002010-10-07T06:28:01.077-04:00Herzog,

In this case, the LMA shuttles are run by MASCO which is a joint Harvard/ Hospital organization. I'd first try calling their customer service line.(617-632-2800)
I would also try contacting Nicole Freedman to see what can be done about private busses-both in the short term, and in terms of bringing someone from the appropriate agency to the next one of these.cyclerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10331461189944538729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356723782465446786.post-18602064640958839242010-10-06T23:43:39.548-04:002010-10-06T23:43:39.548-04:00Wish there was a rep from the company that runs th...Wish there was a rep from the company that runs the LMA shuttles! I ride down Mass Ave everyday and have noticed that MBTA busses are very good around cyclists. The LMA shuttles are another matter entirely, cutting off cyclists, driving in the bike lanes, etc. Something has got to be done about that.Herzognoreply@blogger.com
