I don't know if it's just b/c there was more snow than usual, or (b/c of said snow) people were more ready to adopt the "out of sight, out of mind" philosophy... it's especially noticeable around areas where (it has become obvious) smokers congregate. The sight of 10s to 100s of now defrosted, soggy butts is wretched and truly gag inducing.Astroluc (Find me on Tumblr and Instagram @Astroluc)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02035410750985093621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356723782465446786.post-80600406232474786702011-02-23T17:58:51.673-05:002011-02-23T17:58:51.673-05:00I was riding on Somerville Ave and on Beacon St ea...I was riding on Somerville Ave and on Beacon St earlier today. While the snow has mostly receded, the bike lanes as well as the road itself were strewn with what looked like fine gravel/ pebbles, and I am guessing came from the asphalt having been ravaged by snow. The result was that the tires of cars passing by would fling the gravel onto me and my bike, with some of it nearly getting into my eye. Oh how I am eager for the roads to be normal again!Velouriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00359329171411037482noreply@blogger.com
