If that is lose then it will do what you described. The only time the two H and L are needed is when you are installing a new cable. It sounds like the shifter and not the derailler.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356723782465446786.post-20152501987150759122012-01-01T11:17:42.473-05:002012-01-01T11:17:42.473-05:00Happy new year with your Shogun!

(Based on my own experience, and I'm pretty sure I have less bike experience than you). Mine has two screws with helpful labels - H and L - indicating which is for adjusting the high gear and which for the low. I just kind of mess with the relevant screw until I get things shifting the way I want. Usually takes about ten minutes. It's a really gratifying bike repair because it doesn't involve having to take things apart.CJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00017769898837546593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356723782465446786.post-65689934894392120652011-12-31T20:01:34.924-05:002011-12-31T20:01:34.924-05:00Bike lanes without taxpayer-supplied parking to en...Bike lanes without taxpayer-supplied parking to endanger cyclists.
