Janette Sadik-Khan, the visionary Transportation Commissioner from NYC is giving a lecture Thursday at the Harvard GSD at 6:30.
Information here. The lecture " New York's Sustainable Streets" is free and open to the public, but these lectures often fill up early, so come early if you want to be in the lecture hall (they generally have video simulcast if they overflow, but I don't know if it's guaranteed.
Boy, would I like to see that. Searching diligently now for the video simulcast you mention, thank you for posting this information.
ReplyDeleteJRA. I don't know if they web stream it, especially live, but when I've gone to popular talks in the past, they have monitors and seats in adjoining rooms.
