Don't look now

But the days are officially getting longer now (in this hemisphere anyway)!

It's nice to be over the hump and headed towards more and more light in the afternoon/ evening.
Even though it's a long series of gradual changes before it will really make things better, it's nice to know it's coming.

    What's more, in just a couple more weeks, it'll even start getting light earlier in the mornings.

    The days are getting longer, only very slowly at first.

    For those out and about on Monday evening December 26th, 2011, check out the western sky just after sunset twilight. Venus and the Moon will be paired nicely. I hope you have clear skies! (Follow the link below for a nice graphic of the evening sky.)
