The good news is that I have a Great new camera that takes fabulous photos, and I've taken a ton of pics of fun bikes and people riding them.
The bad news is that my computer is being cranky about letting me download them. After making myself late to work this morning trying to fix the problem, I think I may have figured it out (I think that iphoto just needed a time out). If so, expect a flood of posts with new and improved photos.
For now- taken with my lowly iPhone camera-
parked outside the library last night:
And this bike, which I'm afraid the photo doesn't capture very well, had this fantastic patina- It looks like a bicycle that has been really ridden and used hard. It's not the rust of abuse or neglect, but constant contact with the hard surfaces of the world:
I'm afraid I have to disagree, the Peugeot has been neglected. Ridden hard, yes but also left out in the elements with no attempt to clean or wipe down. That's not patina, it's neglect.
ReplyDeleteThe iPhone camera is a lifesaver. It works even when you left your GREAT camera at home. Or so a little birdie told me.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a bike! : )
ReplyDeleteWhat camera did you end up getting?
i also have a ross! looks like they used a pipe cleaner to attach the bird.
ReplyDeleteYay for new cameras! I must say, that bird is kinda creepy :)
