Can't argue with this logic

On one hand, the chromed handrails leading into what used to be Wordsworth books are pretty slick.
On the other hand, bike parking there is scarce.  I bet that if they put in 4 racks where the old pay phones were, they wouldn't need a sign...

  1. I love that someone wrote "please get a bike rack" on the sign! It's ridiculous that businesses will cater to customers in cars, however don't have facilities for bikes.

  2. There's hardly any business there to cater to anyone--that space is still mostly empty. And Harvard Square isn't exactly car-friendly either. But it is kind of odd that Cambridge is relatively bike-friendly, but the central business district isn't.

  3. I was going to ask--what's moving in?? I don't get over there that often anymore, but that's still the saddest place in Harvard Square for me.
